I understand you do not take pleasure from the actual act of murdering someone, but think about it; the hero slays the villain. You feel joy as the hero celebrates his victory. You are taking pleasure in the fact that the villain has just passed away, that another being has just lost his or her life. You celebrate with the hero that someone just became a lifeless husk of a body.

That is the same as me. As you enjoy the villain’s death, I enjoy my victim’s death.
